Why Uniforms & Ranks?

The uniforms and ranks worn by our members are not representative of any military activities.
We are not a military organization.

They have been worn by our organization for many decades, and are part of the traditions of

Imperial Frontiersmen Canada and the Legion of Frontiersmen.

They have been retained strictly to preserve century old traditions of the organization.

Uniforms are not to be worn outside unit functions unless permission is granted.

These uniforms and ranks do not hold any official meaning or authority outside of Imperial Frontiersmen Canada.
